G Cooke Coachbuilders was established in 1974 by Geoff Cooke having served his apprenticeship with the renowned bespoke motor body builders J.H. Jennings and Son of Sandbach
Here he spent 13 years building all types of commercial vehicle bodies including mobile libraries, motorhomes, cattle containers and horseboxes.
Horse transport became Cooke’s specialised field manufacturing quality horseboxes to suit customers individual requirements.
With Cooke’s attention to detail and first-class customer service, a loyal customer base was built up over the years with horseboxes going not just around the UK but over to Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Germany.
In 2015, Matthew Cooke took over the reins from his father Geoff and took the company to another level with his innovative ideas and designs. He upholds the Cooke commitment to provide all customers with a professional and technical service, responding quickly and accurately whilst maintaining the Cooke reputation for the highest standards and quality of workmanship.
